Gwen Bailey is a well known Animal Behaviourist and a past Chairman of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors. She has a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in zoology and has worked for The Blue Cross since 1 988 when she became the first person to be appointed by a national UK animal welfare charity as a full-time animal behaviourist. Gwen has been successfully solving behaviour problems in dogs rehomed by The Blue Cross. She also advises owners who are thinking of giving up their dogs, thereby helping them to get rid of the problem rather than the dog.
Gwen gives lectures at numerous national and international conferences, runs training courses for staff at other animal charities, has written many educational leaflets and is also the author of the Collins Puppy Handbook.
